Yarn features that are not defects but are related to its natural characteristics
or production technology:

  • Natural irregularities and slubs – these are due to the structure of the yarn and add a unique character to the item.
  • Light fuzz or softness – characteristic of natural yarn.
  • Variations in thread thickness or slub weaving.
  • Optical shifts in shade depending on lighting and angle
  • Slight colour differences between fabric batches – normal for natural materials, especially when dyed manually or with organic pigments.
  • A naturally "alive" fabric texture

All these features highlight the authenticity and high quality of the yarn rather
than being a flaw.
